Exterior and Interior
The fourth generation Mustang’s design wasn’t particularly groundbreaking at the time it debuted, but over time, it has aged very well. Ford did give the fourth-generation Mustang a facelift in 1999 too, which elevated its looks. Case in point, this 2000 Ford Mustang GT with its classic white exterior. This car also has a set of aftermarket alloy wheels in shiny silver, with new tires too. Plus, it’s a convertible too, with a reportedly functional black canvas top just waiting to be dropped on those glorious summer days and clear nights. A few more exterior features of note include the smoked taillamps and the black over-the-top stripes that give the car a distinctively sporty appearance. The MUSTANG script in the bumper has also been picked out in black for better contrast. The leather-trimmed four-seat interior of this 2000 Ford Mustang GT offers creature comforts such as air conditioning, power windows, power mirrors and power door locks. It’s a pleasant place to be, especially with the top down. We’re told that there’s an upgraded stereo, plus a subwoofer in the trunk for that extra bassy thump to your tunes. Despite this addition, there’s still adequate trunk space available, and you’ll note the iconic Mustang Prancing Horse motif within the trunk lid as well, proudly displayed when the lid is in the open position.
Engine
This 2000 Ford Mustang GT got a 4.6L supercharged Kenne Bell V8 under the hood with a mere 3,000 miles, we’re told. The engine reportedly makes 540hp, sent to the rear wheels through an automatic gearbox. Hence, this 2000 Ford Mustang GT has a Jekyll-and-Hyde character to it. You can peacefully cruise along, or bury the throttle pedal and leave everyone else behind at the lights.
