Engine

The engineers at Alpina have gave it the full German treatment under the hood by adding a forged crankshaft, low compression pistons, aluminum valve covers and have also remapped the ECU to fit it with a staggering 600hp, all with getting extra cooling capacity to handle the extra power. An 8-speed automatic transmission mated to a 2.81 axle ratio is utilized to send this power to the tarmac through BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive system.
