Exterior and Interior
The 1990 XJ-S is the second iteration of the model. It has the iconic Jaguar grand tourer styling with its long bonnet and elegant simple lines, embodying a statement piece of class and sophistication. This example is a gorgeous specimen with satin metallic beige paint along with a factory-original Twillfast canvas convertible top. The current owner has installed a new convertible top cover to protect it. The car sits on 15-inch Lattice wheels wrapped in new Hankook Kinergy ST tires. As you step inside you are greeted by a matching tan leather interior. With supple leather, beautifully veneered wood, and metal accents you are enveloped in the lap of luxury. The seats are not only comfortable they are also heated and power-operated. The steering wheel is wrapped in black leather along with the dashboard. Engine
The XJ-S was available with two engine options and this example is fitted with the buttery smooth and more powerful 5.3 litre V12. This powerhouse produces 263 horsepower that is transmitted to the rear wheels through a 3-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain combination gives super smooth power delivery accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 6.7 seconds, which is perfect for a Sunday cruiser.
