On the exterior, this 2022 Mercedes-Benz Maybach S580 4MATIC looks a lot like the seventh-generation S-Class that it’s based on. However, the side profile shows off its distinctiveness. Maybe it’s the 20-inch polished Maybach alloy wheels wrapped in all-season tires with noise reduction foam that catches your eye. Or maybe it’s the sheer length of it over a regular seventh-generation S-Class. This Maybach S580 is nearly six inches longer. This 2022 Mercedes-Benz Maybach S580 4MATIC is powered by a 4.0L BiTurbo V8 with a 48V mild hybrid system that sends 496hp and 516lb-ft to all four wheels via a 9G-TRONIC nine-speed automatic transmission and 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system. Ventilated disc brakes on all wheels help bring this living room on wheels to a halt. The performance figures are impressive for such a large and heavy vehicle, with a zero-to-sixty time of 4.8 seconds and top speed limited at 155mph.
